Description -
Excellent late summer color for the drought resistant garden. Plants produce wands of arching stems bearing a dozen lipstick orange red blossoms. Outstanding cut flower. Long sword shaped leaves resemble gladiolus with upright form. Produces corms and a clumping habit over time. Prefers dry to average soil with good drainage to prevent corm rot. Herbaceous perennial. Full sun, part shade. Fast growth 24 to 36 inches tall, 1 foot wide.

Deep reddish orange flowers in summer.
