Description -
Expect a virtual avalanche of snow white blossoms against a dark background of forest green leathery leaves. Nearly 3 inch wide flowers are abundant early to mid spring. Blooms at a young age on previous year’s wood. Vigorous twining stems may climb on garden trellis, arbor or fence. Use as groundcover to sprawl on banks and slopes with quick coverage for surface erosion control. Plant in containers on porch or balcony. Prefers slightly acid, well drained soil. Evergreen. Full sun in cool climates; part shade or protected from hot afternoon sun elsewhere. Moderate to fast growth to 15 feet.
