Description -
Elegant white bleeding heart for spring color in the shade. Sends up foot long spires packed with snow white ‘hearts’ held well above fernlike lush foliage. An improved western native that blooms continuously from April to early June. Easy care, prefers moist but porous soils, spreading by underground roots. Herbaceous perennial. Shade. Fast-growing clumps to 10 to 18 inches wide.
