Description -

Produces the darkest scarlet red flowers of all yarrow hybrids. Muted green gray foliage. Bears a finely textured appearance with leaves pleasantly aromatic. Valued medicinal herb of Roman soldiers. Blooms late spring to early fall. Tall, dense flower heads are everlasting cut flowers. Drought tolerant plant that performs in hot, dry climates. Compatible with arid western natives and Mediterranean species. Well suited as groundcover in rock gardens, banks, and well drained perennial borders. Herbaceous perennial. Full sun. Fast growth to 1 foot tall, spreading to 5 feet wide, in bloom to 3 feet tall.

Key Benefits
Finely textured, fern-like gray-green foliage makes an excellent foil for the tall heads of deep blood-red flowers. A proven performer in hot, dry situations with poor soil. Flower heads can be dried.
