Description -
Beautiful long slender stems bear soft leaves for a casual overall appearance. Blooms mid to late spring quantities of solitary blue or violet flowers. Each bears central contrasting tuft of white stamenodes and are followed by attractive silky seed heads that provide late season interest. Retains all the vigor and disease resistance of the species. Often draped over low fences or walls. Old woody shrubs are also a popular support for a cloak of new foliage and flowers Deciduous vine. Full sun. Vigorous growth to 10 feet.
Key Benefits
Nodding 2-inch deep blue flowers followed by large, attractive seed heads. Grow as a ground cover, on large walls or through open trees or shrubs in sunny locations. Prune lightly lafter flowering. Deciduous.
