This elegant northwestern native bears large fragrant white flowers, with a lavender to maroon blotch at the center of each. Blooms heavily in early summer.. A superb old-fashioned shrub for mixed shrub borders or as a backdrop to colorful perennials. Well suited to wild and native landscapes in the west.
